Hear Christopher play popular ceremony music...

Giordani - Caro Mio Ben
This gentle sweet melody was composed on an Italian poem and makes an elegant backdrop for any part of the ceremony.
Brown - Bells
This little piece is beautiful in its simplicity, and makes a good invocation.
Milan - Pavan in D
Taken from the first ever guitar method book (c. 1535), this lovely little piece makes a great processional march. Moving effortlessly from voice to voice, the melody weaves a brief, but heart-felt love story.
Bach - Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring
One of Bach's most recognizeable classics, "Jesu" is frequently selected to accompany the procession of the wedding party or the bride herself.
Bach - Prelude in D
This timeless beauty, originally written for the cello, is equally fitting as a prelude, processional or solo. The guitar lends a full chorus of strings to sustain its harmonies, creating greater depth and texture.
Wagner - Bridal Chorus
The most popular processional of all, this unmistakable classic is traditionally played on church organ, but the classical guitar gives it new life!
Puccini - Oh, My Beloved Father
This famous aria from La Boheme is fairly popular at weddings. Its lingering melody makes it perfect for a dedication or solo.
Bach - Air on the G String
Commonly used as a prelude, processional or solo feature, Bach's timeless "Air" is elevated even higher by the gentle, harp-like strings of the classical guitar.
Pachelbel - Canon
This piece is very popular among brides and sets an elegant background for romantic processionals and unity ceremonies.
Schubert - Ave Maria
This haunting and graceful melody is often used as a prelude, solo or postlude piece.
Puccini - Musetta's Waltz
Most operas have one great aria, but La Boheme has two: "O, my Beloved Father" and this gorgeous, unforgettable tune. This piece works beautifully anywhere in the ceremony program.
Bach - Gavotte
The first of two gavottes from the sixth cello suite, this tune is both beautiful and easily recognizable. It works well in any part of the ceremony, and makes a great recessional.
Beethoven - Ode to Joy
Beethoven's inspiring and most famous melody makes a perfect recessional for the newly-wed couple.
Mendelssohn - Wedding March
This familiar fanfare is a popular choice for celebrating the completion of the ceremony and beginning the recessional.
Satie - Gymnopedie 1
This sweet lullaby manages to evoke both melancholy and romance at the same time, making it one of Satie's most famous works. It's often included in the postlude set.
Handel - Hornpipe from Water Music
This is one of Handel's finest melodies, and works beautifully as a recessional or postlude feature.
